November 13th, 2008: Guys I just discovered it today but I am the #1 Fan of MS Paint Adventures. A choose-your-own-adventure comic done with great art and hilarious plotting? YES PLEASE. There's three stories: Problem Sleuth, Bard Quest, and Jailbreak Adventure. I recommend starting with Jailbreak Adventure, since you don't have many options initially (avoiding the paranoid feeling of "WHAT AM I MISSING OH GOD" endemic to the genre - I mean, endemic to ME and the genre) and also it's hilarious AND there's pumpkin heads.

In other the news the mayor of Batman, Turkey is suing the producers of the new Batman movie because it's his town's name. Only he hasn't actually signed any legal papers. Thanks to everyone who emailed me this story!

Also CNN and news media in general, can we give the "Holy noun!" headlines for Batman a rest? Here is a secret: they were never actually clever you guys! Also while we're at it if you're going to write a story titled "Biff! Bam! Kapow! Comics aren't just for kids anymore!" please rename it to "Patronizing Thoughts On A Medium I Only Know Stereotypes About Which I Happened To Acquire Decades Ago".

November 12th, 2008: I did a few updates to my site! I added some social bookmarking links beneath the comic because that is what all the cool kids were doing two years ago and now that it's well-established I can act like I knew about this all the time. Plus I find them useful! It does clutter up the design a li'l, so I may experiment with moving them around.

Also! It is the time of year where I have to remind you about Christmas. But I have an excuse! Here in online land it takes some time to ship things to you and yours, so if you want totally awesome Dinosaur Comics clothing to arrive in time for Christmas, you have to order soon. If you're shipping to a non-US address, you should order by November 30th (two weeks!) to get Christmas delivery, and if you're shipping to a US address, you don't want to push things past December 14th.

Also! New in the store and pictured above is a T-Rex's Busy Day Hoodie that is warm and huggable and awesome, which coincidentally are properties I'm sure are also shared by the person you may want to buy it for!!

November 5th, 2008: I went to Chris's launch and book signing party for the new Achewood book, The Great Outdoor Fight and it was fun times. Achewood is my favourite comic and it was great to meet the man behind it! He is a man of strong handshakes and good taste in wine.

Just now as I was linking to Amazon's page for Chris's book, I saw they've got a deal where you can buy Chris's Achewood book and Nick's PBF book and my Dinosaur Comics book together and save money, which is a good idea! I approve of this automatically-generated discount, Amazon.com robot overlords.

October 27th, 2008: I stumbled across I Am Not Infected, a web comedy about survivors of a zombie outbreak in LA. It's got really high production values (I don't know how they pull of their special effects without spending tons of money?) and it's fun because it's set up like a reality series (the survivors take shelter on the set of "The Frat House Of Representatives") and it's ALSO fun because one of the survivors got caught wearing a T-Rex shirt when the outbreak happened, so he's spent every episode of the series so far in it. I FIND I AM FORCED TO APPROVE
